Registration
Registration is in $AUD and covers facility hire, equipment, some meals, etc - see list below. Please arrange your own flights / travel to the venue, parking and accommodation. N.B. Rydges Hotel is offering our guests a discounted room rate - the code will be emailed upon registration. Early bird booking by 14 September 2025
Inclusions
Organised by the VCCC, all registrations include: • Day 1 Saturday Dinner, • Day 2 Sunday Breakfast Networking • Day 2 Sunday STEMM Challenge Awards. =>Adult Professional registration includes all the above plus: • Day 1 Summit Sessions • Day 1 Lunch & Afternoon tea • Transfers between main venue & Dinner if required (drinks extra). Professionals complete their program at the end of the STEMM Challenge Awards ~11am Sunday. => Students & Early Career (SEC) includes all the above plus the SEC program: • Day 2 Lunch • Day 2 Excursion • Day 2 Fun activity • Day 2 Transfers between activities & back to venue or airport. Try to book your flight home after 6pm Sunday. => Social Pass only includes: • Saturday Dinner, • Sunday Breakfast Networking & • STEMM Challenge Awards. It is suited for parents, partners or relatives who want to join in socially or STEMM professionals with limited availability. => Please check the FAQ if you are a parent or guardian of a child. => Media & sponsors should check their information pack for inclusions. => Times & activities are approximate & are subject to change.
Limited travel scholarships of up to $400 are available for eligible Student & Early Career (SEC) registrants. Register & pay for the Summit and then Apply for a scholarship before the early bird date. Successful applicants will be reimbursed after attending the Summit and meeting all requirements.

What are the key Summit dates?
Early bird registrations close 5pm Sunday 14 September 2025.
Scholarships close 5pm Sunday 14 September 2025.
Summit registrations close 5pm Thursday 9 October 2025 unless sold out before.
Summit is held in Canberra Saturday 18 to Sunday 19 October 2025.

Do I need to be Croatian to attend the Summit?
No - you don't have to be Croatian but you should have a strong interest in Croatia. Having Croatian heritage is a plus and we will be talking about Croatian and EU study and work opportunities. The program is in English.

Who is the STEMM Summit for/ which registration should I purchase?
• The STEMM Summit is for adults & for students from Year 10 onwards. Professional behaviour is always required. Participants with infants or other needs, contact us via the form below to see how we can support. Note: Anyone under 18 years must be dropped off & picked up in person, each day, by a parent or legal guardian. The parent is welcome to purchase an Adult Professional or Social Pass registration, or none at all. • Adult Professional: STEMM professionals e.g. active to semi-retired scientists, engineers, IT specialists, analysts, medical clinicians, academics, industry experts, STEMM secondary teachers & similar. We also welcome Croatian language teachers & STEMM employers. • SEC: Students & Early Career professionals from Year 10 to university (both undergrad & postgrad) & anyone who graduated from a STEMM qualification or equivalent in the last five years. • Social Pass: It is suited for parents, partners or relatives who want to join in socially or for STEMM professionals with limited availability. Depending on numbers, this registration type may be asked to wait in the foyer or restaurant or enjoy free time around Canberra between social activities.
Can I attend the Summit online?
This is a face-to-face event. However, some guest speakers living overseas may join us online.
My circumstances changed. Can I get a refund?
A refund of the registration amount is possible within the following dates. Payment processing fees cannot be refunded. Refunds are processed after the Summit. a) Notify us by 14 September 2025 = 100% refund of registration amount. b) Notify us by 30 September 2025 = 50% refund of registration amount. c) There are no refunds after 1 October 2025.
